Karen Pomerinke is the founder/owner of A Family Dog in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Karen offers
private family dog training, board and train programs, help in preparing owners/dogs for
therapy certification as well as assessment and training for behavioral issues. She offers a
consult with clients in their home to both evaluate environmental influences as well as
temperament. Working with family members to set training goals is one of her areas of expertise.
She feels it is essential that dog owners get off on the right track, right away with newly
adopted dogs and puppies to help avoid potential behavior issues. Karen recognizes how much
easier it is to start with the right goals than to deal with problems later.
